   Appaloosa Gelding - great for beginners & Intermediate riders

   Smokey the Appaloosa gelding is about 15.2 hands. He is barefoot and he is timed every 6-8 weeks. He does NOT have any kind of arthritis and is NOT on any special diet (he holds weight just fine). I just feed him Alfalfa and grass hay. I do give him beet pulp 7 times a month but I use it to help with sand, he holds weight just fine. He is 21-25 years old. He is perfect for kids just learning to ride in the yard/arena. He can even be ridden in just a halter with no saddle by small children. Of course ...
